Geography
The two Samoas, Western and American, are located in the middle of the South Pacific; About halfway between Hawaii and New Zealand.
Western Samoa, is now a free and independent country from its German and then New Zealand past. It's independence was established January 1, 1962 via a UN trusteeship administered by New Zealand. It is a constitutional monarchy similar to the British government. Western Samoa became the first independent island nation in the South Pacific.

Nature of Institutes
School of Agriculture and Institute for Research, Extension and Training in Agriculture and Rural Development (IRETA) as part of the University of the South Pacific (USP). USP is a regional university and has its main campus in Suva, Fiji.
