Organisational Structure
Horticultural research is carried out by the Department of Crop Science. The research is concentrated on tropical fruit trees. Topics are improvement of mango cultivars, adaptation of fruit trees with adverse enviroment such as acid and salty soils, and asexual propagation of fruit trees. Three divisions are responsible for these research activities: 1. Crop technology, 2. Biotechnology, and 3. Plant Physiology.
