Organisational Structure
The laboratories contribute in supporting agricultural development in the country. There are three sections: 1. Soils and water (The section handles all tests related to soils and water including organic and inorganic fertilizers); 2. Plant protection (The section has two laboratories for insects and pathogens. All aspects of pests and diseases are handled. Imported organic fertilizers are also examined at this section.); 3. Animal health (This section carries out various fungal and bacterial tests and studies pathogens, which cause diseases in farm animals and their cure, in addition to date palm pollination and pesticides section.).
