Organisational Structure
The station was established in 1940 in the central part of the Prefecture for development of citrus industry. The station has now also two citrus branch stations and a deciduous fruit branch station. Important subject is to develop new production systems for obtaining higher quality fruit with less labor cost in inclined orchard and to breed cultivars able to replace old mandarin cultivars.
