Organisational Structure
Kyoto Prefectural Agricultural Research Institute has an experimental farm of 235 ha. Horticultural activities are concentrated in the Vegetable Division (at Kameoka) and the Ornamental Plants Division.
Research activities of the Ornamental Plants Division are: cultivation techniques and breeding for high quality products of special local flowers; improving cultivation of potted and bedding plants; and regulation of growth and flowering in ornamental plants.
