Organisational Structure
The staff of about 100 is subdivided into four groups of similar size comprising scientists, technicians, support staff and research students. The Food Centre is well equipped with research and analytical laboratories, pilot plants for meat slaughtering and for prepared consumer products, test kitchen, sensory evaluation unit and a nursery unit for start-up food businesses.
