Organisational Structure
Teagasc is responsible for research, education and advice in agriculture, horticulture and farm forestry. Advisory and rural development services are provided from a network of 28 county offices. There are four horticultural colleges.

Research Programs
Research services are provided from eight centres, six of which conduct research on production agriculture, agri-food economics and rural development and two provide research and consultancy services for the food industry. Kinsealy Research Centre is the national centre for horticultural and farm forestry research.
