Nature of Institutes
CIRAD-Flhor (Centre de Coop‚ration Internationale en Recherche Agronomique pour le D‚veloppement - D‚partement des productions fruitiŠres et horticoles) at Monpellier, France, coordinates the activities. CIRAD-Flhor works with 3 subsector programs: BPA (Banana, Plantain and Pineapple), ARF (Fruit Trees Program) and PRH (Horticultural Products). The research is conducted under tropical conditions in permanent stations (Martinique, Guadeloupe, Reunion) and other sites in West Africa, South America and Pacific Ocean area. The permanent CIRAD-Flhor Stations de la R‚union are located in Saint Pierre.
